Hello, My Name Is Nicola
Following on from my own birthing experience, I became inspired to support other women to have an empowering and positive births. I qualified as a midwife in 2018 at Swansea University but am not currently in practice. I am also a hypnobirthing/antenatal education practitioner, birth trauma release practitioner and mum of two. Having practiced yoga, myself during my pregnancies and knowing all the amazing benefits it brought to my life I was keen to share this with other women.
Following my midwifery training I completed my pregnancy yoga training and then my postnatal mum and baby yoga training with LushTums. The UKs leading provider of yoga for pregnant women and new mums. Wanting to continue to support families within the local community on their journey from birth and beyond and I am now a qualified Wigglebums children’s yoga, mindfulness, and sensory play teacher.
Real People. Real Results
"During my pregnancy I attended the pregnancy yoga class every week. I felt relaxed after every class. Nicola is a fantastic instructor and such a lovely person. It was great getting to know the other ladies in class. I also recommend the hypnobirthing and antenatal classes she runs that I attended with my husband. We both felt confident we could make informed choices for labour. Because of the classes I managed to have a water birth with minimal intervention. I’ll be forever grateful to Nicola for sharing her knowledge with us"
"Myself and my partner would highly recommend Nicola’s hypnobirthing and antenatal course. The sessions were packed full of great techniques to help you through your labour, including some that your birthing partner can help you with. We found these particularly meaningful and helped my body focus on what it needed to do. We were also informed about the choices we had for birth and given great advice for the 4th trimester. Nicola delivered the course with a lovely hands on approach, filled with wonderful knowledge. We came out of the course feeling excited about giving birth and confident about raising our baby girl Indi."
"The class and Nicola are lovely. I was put at ease straightaway and I’m a complete novice with yoga but I’m enjoying every part of it and you can see all the babies love it too. I look forward to going every week and taking part and learning, thanks to Nicola’s expertise"
"My little one and I are on month 6 of our yoga sessions with Nicola and we absolutely love it. Nicola is a very supportive and knowledgeable teacher; your postnatal body will be in good hands. I find the class so uplifting and its great to meet other mums and babies of different ages"
