Hello, My Name Is Nicola

Following my own birthing experience, I became inspired to support other women to have an empowering and positive births.

I qualified as a midwife in 2018 at Swansea University but am not currently in practice. I am also a hypnobirthing/antenatal education practitioner, reiki practitioner and mum of two. Having practiced yoga, myself during my pregnancies and knowing all the amazing benefits it brought to my life I was keen to share this with other women.

“Nicola and her pregnancy yoga group has honestly been the highlight of my pregnancy. I’m not usually one for classes and I’m definitely not usually chilled out enough for yoga, but this group has been so refreshing for me. This is my third pregnancy and I’m only sorry I didn’t go on my previous two. When I go to the class I have fun, relax, feel like I’m working my body and always go home and have a good night’s sleep. It’s the first time in all my pregnancies I’ve truly felt ready for birth and that’s down to Nicola and all the girls that go to the Wednesday class”

“My daughter is often shy and reluctant to join in when we have attended kids’ groups previously. But she absolutely loves Nics yoga sessions and even went and sat with Nic on her mat!! Its nice to see her finally starting to join in and she has even been doing the yoga poses at home! Such a fab class!”

“I was so glad I found Nicola’s pregnancy yoga group and loved going each week-it was something I always looked forward to and felt so much calmer after each class. Nicola is so helpful, kind and knowledgeable and her group is so friendly, as were the other pregnant mums in the class. My husband and I also attended Nicola’s hypnobirthing and antenatal classes which I would definitely recommend. And I was pleasantly surprised how much my husband enjoyed the class and how useful we found it. We felt very prepared as first-time parents. I’m excited to continue my journey with Nicola in her mum and baby yoga group - I just wish I could pack her in my hospital bag and take her into labour with me!!”

"I’m so glad to have found Nic’s pregnancy yoga groups! I was initially nervous starting on my own, but now I absolutely love my Wednesday evenings! I look forward to coming each week and feel like I’m learning a lot of lovely strategies in preparation for baby. Nic is always so warm and welcoming, gives fantastic birth prep advice and is happy to answer any questions, and I sleep like a baby after each yoga night! It’s a lovely group in a beautiful setting, and so wonderful to have some time to just focus on myself and baby during the busy week. I would recommend that any expectant mums come along. “I started pregnancy yoga with Nicola in my second trimester. Nic was great at making changes to postures to suit different pregnancy related ailments and was very knowledgeable. My husband and I then attended a hypnobirthing and antenatal workshop which was packed full of useful information for myself and my husband. I used these hypnobirthing techniques throughout my labour and delivery, they definitely helped to keep me calm and relaxed. I also felt more confident with informed decision making due to the information id learnt. I’m now 5 months postpartum and enjoying taking my little one to Nics mum and baby yoga sessions. It’s a much-needed stretch and the other mums are also so friendly. Baby girl enjoys the bubbles too! I would recommend Nic to any mums to be, birthing partners and new mums”

Each layer of the WiggleBums/Kids class develops important brain structures and neural pathways. Enhancing spatial awareness developing all of the senses as well as increasing language and communication skills.
